Assembly instructions:

Ready for populating the board?

Step 1:

Solder the polarized diode D1, D2 and the small signal diodes D3 and D4, pay attention to their orientation since they're polarized components

And the two 2,2K optionals LED’s resistors. (Or a value between 390r and 4,7K)

Step 2:

The big capacitors:

At first, the 5 polarized caps (100uF).

PLEASE BEWARE THE POLARIZATION (See pic below for correct implementation).

And finally the two polarized capacitor 1000uF. (Blue on pics).

PLEASE BEWARE THE POLARIZATION (See pic below for correct implementation).

Step 3:

The ICs: (Don’t mixed up)

-7912 first  and then the 7812 and 7805.

Step 4: The Two LEDs (Green and Red, or any cool color)

And the small 100nF non polarized capacitor

Step 5, the Eurorack power connector:

You can use single row, double row of 5 pin headers (2,54mm) or HE10 2X5 connector.

Cut the number of pins needed. When the pin headers are soldered, immediately verify the solder quality & if you didn't forget any pin.

Step 6:

Solder the DC jack (Directly on PCB or wired), connect it to a 9V AC Wall Adapter. Check the polarity with a multimeter on the Eurorack connector before connecting any module.

The strip is on the negativ rail.

Your Mini Power is ready to use!

Disclaimer:

-You can use the regulator’s holes to fixing your mini power into a metallic case or rail.  The 7805 and 7812 are 0V polarity on the heater and can be connect directly to the ground using metal spacers. The LM7912  don’t have any hole on the PCB to prevent shorcut’s because the 7912 heater is -15V polarized and don’t be connected to the 0V heaters from LM7805 and LM7905.
